EASTER FUN AT BEWDLEY DUCKS GALLERY
Fun in the Courtyard for the youngsters, at Bewdley Ducks Gallery on Severn Side North. Plant a sunflower and watch it grow through the summer. Prize for the tallest sunflower at the end of the season. Ferret in a Box. No real ferrets we promise, but dare you put your hand in the box? What will you pull out?
Paint your own duck picture. We have canvases each with an Easter duck drawn on it, just waiting for you to add colour and your own personal touch.
We’ve had visitors! The Easter Bunnies have been storing their carrots in our Duck House. Guess how many they’ve managed to stash away. Thornton’s Gruffalo Easter Egg prize for the nearest guess.
Bewdley Ducks are hosting a Carol Service. Carols sung by David Lawrence and Sam Pagett. Mulled wine, mince pies, lucky dip. All in aid of charity. This Thursday evening at 10A Severn Side North, Bewdley. DY12 2EE. Weather’s looking good. Come and join us.
We’re pleased to announce that this year, the Shapeshifters will again be demonstrating their skills and offering children the chance to try their hand at modelling. Dates for your diary are the weekends of April 23rd and 24th, July 23rd and 24th and October 1st and 2nd. The Shapeshifters give their time for free, and for the love of what they do. A great experience for adults and children alike.
Christmas carols in the courtyard. Come and help us celebrate Christmas. Carols sung by David Lawrence, accompanied by a festive audience. Free mince pies. Lucky Dip. All for charity. Proceeds divided equally between Kidderminster hospitals Millbrooke Suite, and Wyre Forest Dog Rescue. Tuesday 22nd December. 7.30 pm.
Next event. Join us for Bewdley’s celebration of Harvest. A whole action packed weekend of fun. Bewdley Ducks Gallery are pleased to announce that the Shapeshifters will be back, giving demonstrations of their stone carving and providing the opportunity for children, and adults, to have a go at creating their own masterpiece. The Shapeshifters will be at the gallery from 11 am until 5 pm Saturday and Sunday, 3rd and 4th of October. This weekend. Don’t miss out on sculpting that masterpiece.
Joe’s open day was a real success. Lots of interest in this innovative and inspirational young Worcestershire photographer. Much of his work is within the Wyre forest, and of wildlife he has spent many hours watching and waiting. The results are stunning. Photographic insights into the private world of the wild.
